Where have i been?

Hi all

I can't believe (well actually I can) that I have not posted for a couple of weeks.

We went away to Wanaka for a week with a quick stop by at the lakes, we had a great family holiday staying with my wonderful cousin Michelle and her (goodness don't tell him I said this) but wonderful and funny husband Paul. They made us so welcome, she had NO idea how happy I would have been to Stay FOREVER!

They took us out on the lake for a day and the kids both got up on the wake board, Paul decided to clear his sinus out with a spectacular face plant he he sorry Paul it was funny!

We went to Queenstown for the day and went up the gondola and did the luge. Warning to other parents - don't tell your kids that one fell off YEARS ago BEFORE you take them up this is the result:

She did calm down after I told her I was joking and her calling me a RETARD!
We also walked up Mt Iron - who's idea was that anyway? We were walking/crawling up and this guy passed us RUNNING and get this it was his second trip around it was so hot, mad I tell ya! But I stopped and took this picture of the view looking up lake Wanaka:

It was a great week, thanks so much to Paul and Michelle for putting up with us (I know it was hard work for Paul he he). Do you think you could make farmers out of us?

So then when I get home there is a parcel with HEAPS of new Distress Inks and Sparkling H20's in there and I was so controlled, I even waited a day before I started playing lol. This is a card I have made using the distress inks - they are my MOST favourite way to colour in images, the ole tombows have been resigned to the drawer this just saves so much time!

Now i also found Claudia's Blog (well I have been watching it for some time) pop on over and have a look, she is giving away some blog candy - these are stamps that fit inside the nestabilities as frames, so cute!

Also check Martine's blog - more eye candy and she will ship to international, look at the prize - YUM!

Well that's a long enough post for me - did I redeem myself?

Raincliff has its minimum number met - thank you so much to everyone but there are still plenty of spaces so if you thinking of coming - go on do it! Treat yourself and come for a weekend of fun, relaxation and Scrappin/card making/doing what ever you want!

Nic Howards classes are filling up fast - thanks so much this is great to see, won't admit to feeling a little scared on this one, quite a big punt to bring Nic to little Ole Timaru, but thanks also to the support of our local ladies and the support from Christchurch, Palmerston, & Dunedin oops and Oamaru (I just think of you ladies as local!) we are going well, still spaces but don't miss out. See our web site for details, sneak peaks coming soon!

Have a great week, talk to you soon!

Rachel
