Cards, Cards, Cards

Hi all

Hope you are enjoying the hot weather - I shouldn't moan but BOY is it TO hot! I just don't know what to do with myself in this heat!

I thought I would share some cards that I have made, Bronwyn and I discovered through Bev's Blog that with the Tim Holt's Distress Inks you can use these to colour in your images. So off I went to purchase a water brush and some water paper (just to see what the difference was) and this is what I came up with:
The following two were done with Tombow pens but I much rather the distress inks they are quicker and easier to blend (personal preference). The water colour paper and brush definatly made the process much easier as well and now we are waiting to hopefully hear back from Bev on what Twinkling H20's to purchase so we can have a play with those too! (not that I even know what they are - but watch this space!)

But man oh man how hard is it to get a decent photo! Beck might need your assistance these were about the 20th time I had tried!
Anyway just thought I would share that, I haven't left scrapin just spending a little time back at my grass roots as such he he.
If anyone out there is keen to do a card image swapp - was just thinking we could stamp 10-20 images that we have of our own and do a swap with others, please let me know. I have Penny Black, Stamp It, Hero Arts and others that I would love to swap with someone that has Whiff of Joy or Magnolia stamps (these are not available in New Zealand) but any one any where would be awesome! Send me an E-mail and we can get a swap going with how ever many reply!
Thanks for popping by.
Have a great weekend!
Rachel
